  • One table, by collectionEvery document shows its size, source, when it was added, its transcription and its training status. Collections sit beside the table, favourites first.
  • Training you can watchA document's chip reads Uploaded, Reading, Chat-ready, then Trained. On individual plans a new document is read and trained automatically, unless your credits are used up (on other accounts it waits for Start Training). PDFs, Word, PowerPoint and text files can be asked about once they say Chat-ready, before full training finishes.

The short answer

What is My Documents?

My Documents is the library behind everything else in CorpGPT: every document you add lands here in the collection you chose, is read and trained so your chats, courses, research runs and formats can use it, and has its own page with a preview, its activity, comments and, for audio, a transcript.

Collections

Create, rename, delete and favourite collections. Move documents one at a time or in bulk, and delete in bulk. Deleting a collection deletes its documents.

A page for every document

On a computer: Preview, Activity and Comments tabs, plus a Transcript tab for audio; a download of the original; an audio player for recordings; a search box in transcripts and text files; and, once trained, a Use in conversation button. On a phone, the same page is a simpler view with Download and Ask CorpGPT about this.

What My Documents does

Collections

Create, rename, delete and favourite collections. Move documents one at a time or in bulk, and delete in bulk. Deleting a collection deletes its documents.

Training happens on its own

On individual plans a new document is read and trained automatically, unless your credits are used up (on other accounts it waits for Start Training). PDFs, Word, PowerPoint and text files can be asked about once they say Chat-ready, before full training finishes.

Training states

Each document shows Uploaded, Reading, Chat-ready, Trained, Failed, Blocked or Not trained. You can retry a failed document and see why it failed or was blocked.

Untrain AI

Keeps the file in your library. Removes it from training, but a PDF, Word, PowerPoint or text file can still be selected and answered from; delete it to stop that.

Transcription

Audio is transcribed with the language detected automatically and up to 10 speakers labelled. You can start a transcription, view it, and restart one that failed.

How it works

1

Add a document

Upload a file, paste text or a picture, record audio, add a web page, a YouTube link or an RSS feed, or email it in — it lands in the collection you choose.

2

It trains on its own

On individual plans a new document is read and trained automatically, unless your credits are used up (on other accounts it waits for Start Training). PDFs, Word, PowerPoint and text files can be asked about once they say Chat-ready, before full training finishes.

3

Use it everywhere

Tick it in a chat, pick it for a course or a research run, or make any format from it. Every made thing lists the documents it came from.

Frequently asked questions

What do the training states mean?

Each document shows Uploaded, Reading, Chat-ready, Trained, Failed, Blocked or Not trained. You can retry a failed document and see why it failed or was blocked.

Does a new document train by itself?

On individual plans a new document is read and trained automatically, unless your credits are used up (on other accounts it waits for Start Training). PDFs, Word, PowerPoint and text files can be asked about once they say Chat-ready, before full training finishes.

What happens to audio I add?

Audio is transcribed with the language detected automatically and up to 10 speakers labelled. You can start a transcription, view it, and restart one that failed.

Can I keep a file but stop the AI from using it?

Keeps the file in your library. Removes it from training, but a PDF, Word, PowerPoint or text file can still be selected and answered from; delete it to stop that.

What is on a document's own page?

On a computer: Preview, Activity and Comments tabs, plus a Transcript tab for audio; a download of the original; an audio player for recordings; a search box in transcripts and text files; and, once trained, a Use in conversation button. On a phone, the same page is a simpler view with Download and Ask CorpGPT about this.

How do I organize a large library?

Create, rename, delete and favourite collections. Move documents one at a time or in bulk, and delete in bulk. Deleting a collection deletes its documents. Filter by training state, source and type, sort by any column, and see how much storage you have left in MB.
